Beyond the Barriers

In the second initiation of the Hero’s Journey, we “Meet the Goddess,” and are taught to love, allow and accept what is. In order to fully love, we have to move beyond our need to control and create drama, the third initiation, or what Joseph Campbell called, “ Temptress.” With simple stories, reflective questions, descriptive personifications, and affirmations, you can learn to:

• Identify your temptations and barriers to love
• Eliminate any controlling or manipulating ways
• Evolve anger to forgiveness
• Overcome resistance, struggle
• Acquire self-love and self-esteem
• Utilize the power of unconditional love
• Encompass the resourceful, joyful Goddess
