What a year so far! It feels as if in 2017, we have been moving backward and suffering for the sins of the “fathers.” It is such a time of chaos and uncertainty.
The earth has been raging in California. My neighboring communities are being scorched. The fiery bursts are destroying whole communities and thousands are losing their homes and businesses. I have been feeling so uneasy, as if I am living in a war zone. I have been waking up to the smell of smoke and soot everywhere.
Even before these disasters, everyone I know has been stressed out. The anxieties are not only from our own lives, but from the vibrations of the energy fields.
Our political nightmare has America being disgraced with the talk of another world war. Nature’s disasters—extreme hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, volcanoes, and the numerous firestorms have shocked us. While man’s horrors—senseless mass shootings, the addiction to guns, sexual predators, arsonists, tantrums, and threats of white psychopathic, entitled baby men have sent us spinning in outrage and disbelief.
This all could be the reflections of the exact solar eclipse in August. We are facing our shadows, fears, and repressions. My friend Irma said, “Trump is like Kali, the Indian Goddess of Destruction. He has stirred the pot and has motivated us to take action.” All this corruption has been going on, and he woke us up to it.
From the Vedic point of view, Saturn (limitations) is in a highly sensitive and unstable placement until 11/4. Also the planets are between the Nodes from until 10/28, which denotes the unexpected and unsettled times.
My nervous system has been overwhelmed. I have retreated to working under my sheets in my bed. I felt like I lost my bearing for a while, listening to friends complain. It took me more time to soothe myself as the stresses mounted. Then I made a decision, knowing we have a choice and can influence reality.
I translate the first initiation of the Hero’s Journey as: Focus on what you want to become, not overcome.
Interesting I just took the wonderful “Unlocking Your Quantum Powers” workshop with Jean Houston and it was amazing how I’ve recently flipped back and forth from vast potentiality of endless possibilities to the emotional storms of the present crisis.
Quantum physics tells us that the past, future and present are all happening simultaneously. We have the ability to influence our reality. We are literally bathed in a sea of light, invisible to us, but all pervading. All life is engaged in a process of continuous creation and we are living in partnership with it. We, the witness, affect the reality of what we observe. We are free to be creative, make mistakes, suffer, grow, and evolve into our greater potential and optimal purpose. It is our responsibility to connect to our inner nature and our cosmic promise. The program of our higher Self is encoded within us. We are being called to our greatness. Let’s answer that call.
Here are some things we can do during these times of uncertainty.
- Exercise extra caution and simplify.
- Set aside a time each day to reflect, pray, and clear your mind of thoughts or emotions.
- Breathe deeply for several minutes, deeply and slowly, and imagine there is a beam of light in the center of your mind. See yourself as being light.
- As you breathe, let the light expand and grow more luminous, spreading and intensifying to include your whole body. Imagine every cell is infused with the glorious light.
- Experience the infinite light pouring into you, filling you with possibilities and wisdom, igniting your senses, illuminating your inner knowingness, and awakening your capacities.
- Allow your whole being to merge and become translucent, blurring any edges into an immense ocean of Light.
- Sense the blissful oneness with this field of light and let it dissolve all limitations, obstacles, and conditioning, so that you are open to the promise of your being and amplified powers.
- Place your dreams and intentions in this sea of light and infuse them with the fertile radiance for greater clarity and purpose.
- With a sense of presence define whatever it is you wish to create.
- Actively empower your visions, personally and collectively.
- Feel your desires from the end as if fulfilled.
- See your visions manifested in reality.
- Touch your success.
- Taste the experience of having your heart’s desire.
- Smell the fragrance of satisfaction.
- Act as if and know with faithful heart that your dreams are here.
- Embody this light with the beliefs: “I am doing it.” “I have it. “I understand it.” “I am it.”
- From this place of amazing illumination, identify as a cosmic being and send love, appreciation, encouragement, and empowerment to your personal self.
- Bridge both worlds, feel the scared one holding hands and in deep connection with the cosmic field and all humanity.
- Now in partnership, create and present your infinite gifts to the world.
- Open your heart and give love and support compassionately to everyone around.
I have been communicating with a group of international people. They were sharing their views and worries about our country. I appealed to them to hold the vision for the USA, as I implore all of you on my blog list. At the end of my email I wrote: “Please hold the vision that we will heal and justice will prevail. The USA is a melting pot of many different nationalities. It and we are diverse. Your people are a part of us. Please try to see the people are different from the government. I plead with you for your prayers and help.”

This New Moon at 27 degrees in Libra, the sign of balance, on Thursday, October 19th at 12:12 pm. PDT, exactly opposites Uranus (revolutionary change) and Eris (discord) which could be asking us to make some adjustments in relationships. Jupiter (expansion and abundance) in Scorpio (intense depths) and is close to the New Moon, which could amplify the shocks and surprises. We are being forced to heal find a higher meaning to all this adversity.
