How the Future Is Alive

Have you ever wondered whether the future is already written? After decades of exploring consciousness, astrology, and the creative process, I have come to a very different understanding.

The future is alive. It is a living field of possibilities that we help shape through our awareness, our choices, and the way we meet each moment.

When I first realized that I had creative power, something inside me awakened. I no longer felt like a passenger in life. I became a participant. It was one of the most liberating discoveries I have ever made.

We influence the future, not by controlling every outcome, but by consciously participating in the creative dance of life. This is the heart of Magnetic Creation.

You don’t force life to give you what you want. It is about becoming magnetic by releasing resistance and opening ourselves to what wants to emerge through you.

The universe is not something separate from us. We live in a co-creative relationship with it. We influence life. Life influences us. Together, we participate in an unfolding mystery. My dear teacher, Jean Houston, often said, "As viewed, so revealed."

The way we perceive the world influences what we can recognize, create, and experience. That is why imagination is so powerful. Every meaningful creation begins as an image, a possibility, or a feeling held within consciousness.

The outer world often reflects our inner assumptions and the stories we repeatedly tell ourselves. Our relationships, our opportunities, and even our recurring challenges can become mirrors, inviting us to look more deeply within.

Rather than asking, "Why is this happening to me?" We might ask, "What is this experience inviting me to learn, become, or express?" That simple shift moves us from feeling powerless to becoming conscious creators.

What I learned in my Shamanic studies is there are different timelines available to us. We are often on a momentum tunnel that naturally flows, but there are less obvious, but better timelines available to us that take some effort to shift. 

If you desire a different future, begin by placing your attention on what you want to cultivate rather than on what you fear or wish to avoid.

Attention is creative. Energy follows attention. Where your attention goes, your life begins to follow.

This is why Magnetic Creation invites us to practice being before having.

We don't become joyful because our dreams arrive. We cultivate joy, gratitude, love, and confidence first. Then we begin to recognize opportunities that resonate with those qualities.

We become the person who naturally welcomes the future we long to experience.

That is why your imagination is one of your greatest spiritual gifts. It is the doorway through which new possibilities first enter your life.
